Still blows my mind that the order banks are open for MY24.

What does MY24 mean? I ordered a Lariat with the 4K package and splash guards. Will it say that on a schedule date or is it gonna be under the MY24 title?

At least the tow hitch isn't constrained anymore.

If there were ~20,000 carry overs, then only ~30,000 new orders? I guess demand is down...

Looks like the constraints are back to what has become the norm: (Hybrid, XL, mud flaps). Fewer than 33000 new orders so far? Ford better get their act together because it looks like the honeymoon is over for the Maverick. The price increases really did thwart demand, at least for the Ecoboost.

Thank goodness that mine was built last month (July 3) and delivered to me last week (August 15) before losing some nice features that might change my mind on this vehicle (hybrid powertrain as optional, windshield defroster, manual rear sliding window, and securicode)

Wouldn’t be surprised if 30-50k is right around where they want to be for sales for the year. It’s not a very profitable truck and I’m sure they’d rather have people move up into rangers and f-150s

It is still open because Ford told dealerships their allocation before the banks opened. So, dealers likely took fewer orders in total because they knew how many they were going to get. Ford closed banks last year because dealers loaded up the order banks.

As I posted elsewhere today, my dealer knows he has two Maverick allocations left for 2024. I *think* Long McArthur has been out of allocations for some time.

They didn't take any new 24 orders. They had enough rollovers to eat up all of their allocation.

Some folks just haven't gotten into the mind shift that it is NOT like 2023 or before. While the "order banks are still open" at some dealers, they are long closed at other dealers (like Long-McArthur). It is going to be a treasure hunt soon, as "order banks" close one dealer at a time.

I placed a new order for a 2024 at MSRP the first day Order Banks were open last month.

Does this mean that on Thursday, the first MY24s orderers picked up will get emails with their scheduled date? Will emails for all vehicles scheduled 10/16-10/30 go out on Thursday, or do they just start going out?
