Just confirmed with my dealer, and it's true.

The ACC was part of package 66B, Ford CoPilot Assist. This could ONLY be selected when you also chose packages 86B Ford CoPilot and 54P, Lariat Luxury. So, in theory as a consumer looking at the 2023 order guide last year, it was simple: Order 54P and 86B, then you can order 66B.

Here's the problem: Ford didn't let the dealer choose 66B; they pulled it off the ordering information for the dealer. Not available.

In other words, they let YOU the consumer see it in the guide, but they did NOT let the dealer order it. None of the 2023s have it I'm told.

And, oh by the way, in the probably impossible chance some aftermarket ACC is ever available, I'm there. Line forms behind me.
That's not true. My 2023 has lux, Co-pilot 360 and Co-pilot Assist. Others have them also. Your dealer just didn't order it.

Someone supposedly added ACC but I'm not trusting someone other than the factory adding a safety feature.

What can I tell you?? When my dealer went to place the order that we gave him, which was exactly what I stated with those three option packages, it would not allow them to order the 360 copilot assist, option package 66B. We have bought dozens of cars from this dealer and we are A-plan so they generally don’t screw around with us, or any of their customers. This is one of the largest dealers in the nation volume wise, and the vast majority of their clientele are Ford employees, or retirees.

But for those of you who confirmed you have it I will be sending him this information today! Of all the options on all the Ford vehicles I’ve ever had over the decades by far the adaptive cruise control is the single most important one I’ve ever enjoyed so I’m quite disappointed that my Maverick, which is supposed to be built next week won’t have it. 😡😡😡

For those of you who have a 2023 model year Maverick in your garage with the adaptive cruise control, was this a 2023 MY ordered during the brief ordering for 2023’s last September 2022? Or was this a rollover order from a prior year that was unfulfilled? My dealer tells me that none of the 2023s that they ordered for their clients were able to be ordered with the adaptive cruise control package… they said it showed on the order guide, but it was not available for them to place the order in their system.

There were some oddities in the ordering system, like I think you had to select black onyx interior BEFORE the order bank would allow you to select the Black Appearance Package (I may have that backwards, and it is likely fixed now), so maybe they were trying to order the Assist prior to adding the two required packages (Lux and CP360).

But whatever, they should have checked with their Inventory Specialist if they couldn't add CP360Assist to orders. I'd expect better from a large dealer. My tiny dealer had no trouble when I told them what to add and what to subtract.

I'm truly sorry, but it really is a dealer error. I have mixed emotions about the ACC, since I think heavy regen braking under ACC without lighting the brake lights is a concern.

Man this sucks. What are you going to do? I currently don't have to truck and I don't have a vehicle with ACC, but I do a lot of highway miles and I can't see myself going back once I get ACC
My dealer accessories rep was pricing an aftermarket add on ACC and found that the after market produced had stopped taking orders for it because of pedal position calibration problems. Also said that Ford did not offer add on package no reason given. I suspect the ACC chip is constrained🤷🤷🤷

Not a Ford failure.... Dealers and customers failed.

As they were having lots of constraint issues at the time, Ford decided to break out those 6 items to help the build process. Ford clearly informed dealers about the changes to the order guide for 2023 in September 2022, but many dealers couldn't seem bothered to read. Thanks to @fordvideoguy and others posting the Ford Order Guide here, I guided my dealer to make the proper changes to my 2022 order that was cancelled/reordered.

Now for 2024, Ford decided to make it simpler for dealers and customers who don't read their orders. A Lariat has pretty much everything requiring factory install (but the moonroof) standard.

I blame Ford for a lot of the previous years' order mess, but this particular issue falls on dealers and customers. When 2022 orders were converted to 2023 orders, too many people didn't check on what was changed and relied on dealers to take care of whatever was needed to duplicate their 2022 order.
Couldn't have said it better myself. I try to go over all changes between one model year to the next to keep inform customers.

I had a rollover and have ACC but that has nothing to do with it. I remember there were some glitches when the order banks opened about selecting certain trims. It's possible that was an issue briefly, although this is the first time hearing about it. Either way, your dealer should've put in a word to his rep or his boss to look into it.

Did you check in with your dealer frequently and look at the window sticker when it came in or did you just put an order in and wait for them to call you and say your truck came in?

I just picked up my 23 Area 51 Lariat on Friday. As I'm driving home, I noticed I'm missing adaptive cruise control. I went into the dealership in July of 2022 and built the truck on the website and specified everything I wanted on it. When the ordering opened in September, I went it and they told me there were some new options including the black appearance package and Tremor package. I opted for the black appearance package and skipped the Tremor package because they couldn't tell me what it would cost at that time. I confirmed all of the other packages like the Lariat luxury and co-pilot 360 packages at that time too.

Fast forward almost a year later, my window sticker states I got the Lariat luxury and co-pilot 360 packages, but I don't have adaptive cruise or rear parking sensors. After digging around on here, it looks like they split the co-pilot 360 package into 2 separate items and the dealer just neglected to mention that to me. I'm really disappointed as my last vehicle had ACC and I loved it.

I definitely don't want to wait another year for the dealer to order me a new one.
The exact same thing happened to me for my March '23 delivered Mav...ordered in Oct of '21...and ordered at the dealership. When, after delivery I noticed the same issue, nobody at the dealership had a clue as to why. SAD

Co-pilot 360 in and of itself does not give you ACC.
