Over the weekend I attended the 2nd Annual Midwest Maverick Meet in Salina, Kansas hosted by Long McArthur. It was nice seeing about 2 dozen Mavs. One of those Mavericks was one debuted by Long McArthur, somewhat of a street truck design with lowered and performance upgrades such as a larger are intake. This particular mod is a Ecoboost. I don’t work for LM, am not trying to sell anything. Just wanted to share some photos. Nice work @fordvideoguy and Niles.

Very nice. Definitely would be sweet to see dealerships doing performance specials like back in the day. I could see a intake, intercooled, and exhaust customer job with a piggy back tune like the Panda module running fast with drop springs good shocks and sway bars. And maybe a brake pad upgrade. Maybe they could offer a limited warranty and guarantee work at their shop. Call it the Maverick GT Special. Could even start with XL 4k since wheels and custom interior bits would be likely changed up and customer spec'd. Could be set up in stages, like handling, performance, and appearance with a small discount on multiple packages.

I like it but exactly what is "a lot" of performance upgrades? The only thing mentioned was larger air intake.

alot aftermarket upgrades, we call our aftermarket department, Long McArthur Performance (LMP). So I'm sure he meant alot of LMP upgrades. I'll have a video soon that goes over the package that can be added to FWD or AWD Ecoboost Maverick. Most of the mods can be seen in the images.

Im not bagging as I really like what ya'll do with some of the F150's and stuff, but I was hoping when he said performance, he meant a hopped up motor/turbo with a tune and custom exhaust and downpipe. Maybe a big brake kit upgrade. Something to truly improve the performance of the truck. These lil trucks have so much potential to be street sleepers.

We will be doing a video to go over everything added soon. We did some testing on the performance of the truck today and those that receive it will be impressed with the handling and performance with what we did to it. There isn't much you can add (more than what we did) without replacing the engine with the 2.3L like Fast Mavericks did. We will go over everything soon.

Did they only put stripes on the left side? I do not like asymmetrical stripes... looks undone.

I appreciate the effort, but those stripes and wheel choice are questionable. The stripe thing, in 2023 really needs to be reconsidered. I know certain parts of the country these are more popular. But it is a pretty dated idea in the car world.

Let me get this straight, you feel that after adding an intake, and maybe a few other things, that the only logical next step is to do a motor swap?!? You are missing about 100-150hp worth of upgrades well before the "logical" step of a 2.3L engine....
