Assuming it's not debadged --
Left side badge, it's a hybrid.
Right side badge, it's an AWD Ecoboost.
No badge? It's a FWD Ecoboost and I guess I don't know why y'bought it unless it was just all you could get.

Another difference.. (If you look under the hood) Is that large Orange cable, running from the rightside to the leftside in the engine bay.

Well, I have an EB so perhaps biased. However, I do not see that the hybrid has more comfort, and the jury is still out on the endurance part. So far, many hybrid owners have had to have endurance for recalls and several messages on Ford Pass!!!

I believe it's much more comfortable to not have the engine running most of the time while at a stand still and lower speeds. Sooo smooth and quiet most of the time. You couldn't pay me to give my hybrid up for an EB version

Is there a visual way to tell if the truck is hybrid or EB? Badges, different grills, anything? Or do you just have to ask the owner?

If you're driving a hybrid and another Mav hauls up on you then pauses and then proceeds to fly past you. It's the Egoboost passing you.

On the other hand, if you are at the gas station and you see a Maverick passing by it’s the hybrid.

I wouldn't buy AWD. No need for it. Just wastes gas and takes more power to go down the road.

There kinda is. Correct me if I am wrong cause that happens often.

IRC, NYC ordered all cab companies to go hybrid a while back. (Raising costs to the consumer, BTW). Many companies went with the Ford Escape hybrid which I believe has the same ICE as the Mav or something very, very similar. There are many references to NYC cabs with over 300K on the engine. That would to me, demonstrate endurance, no?

Badges aside, because people do debadge, how else? You'd have to get underneath or pop the hood. What about radiator size? Is the hybrid the same as the FWD EB?

If you pop the hood it will be obvious . Hybrid has orange highvoltage cables, two coolant tanks and no belts.

Yea I was in the 2500 the other day and we got passed by some jackal in a Hybrid flooring it. I was doing 75 too.... in a 70. 2nd Maverick I've seen around my area. Drove just like all the other "truck nut" idiots on the roads up here.

Nobody drives all Highway miles but even at highway speeds the hybrid gets better mileage.
For example I have recently driven 46miles mostly on the interstate averaging 70mph on that trip 13 of the 46 miles were electric and I averaged around 45mpg . I have have 475 total miles on my Maverick and have used less than 3/4 of a tank of gas all in normal mode . I stil have 525 miles to go on my 1000 mile break in and at this rate I'll get 1000 miles on less than two tanks of gas.
PS. The only way we could possibly be parked next to each other at highway speeds is if we are both being towed.
