Hybrid engine manufacture location?

@fordvideoguy or @Ford Motor Company can you get word back to the Maverick product manager they are putting the wrong engine country of origin on the "Parts Content" label for Hybrids?

But the sticker on the engine shows it was made at the Chihuahua Engine Plant in Mexico like the hybrid engines always have.

Hate to put a new twist in this conversation. But the ice is built in Mex. And I believe the electric motor is made in the USA. Not sure. Just might be the case

Not a new twist. That's the same as it's always been, and no one here has shown any differently (the parts content information declaration showing US-built engines is in error).

Every Maverick Hybrid has an ICE from CHEP in Chihuahua, MX.

Every Maverick Hybrid has an HF45 eCVT from Van Dyke Electric Powertrain Center in Sterling Heights, MI, USA.

There have been no changes here. Nothing to see here, folks. Move along.

Whatever they're doing in Chihuahua, they need to keep it up. They are building one of the best engines Ford and/or Mazda has ever designed. This engine has been very reliable. I believe this is the same engine used in my 2016 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. I have over 100k miles on the MKZ Hybrid and the engine has been flawless. Not a single issue. It still purrs like it just came off the assembly line.

Anyways, I hope my Hybrid Maverick continues to function the same way. I wouldn't be surprised if this engine was actually designed by Toyota...I love it!

Yep! Batteries packs are made in SE MI as well, plus other misc components.
