I just bought my Maverick Hybrid on the 16th, and picked it up three days ago. Paired Ford pass to it at the dealership and saw the deep sleep in message, I cannot use any remote functions. But nothing seems off about the truck, so I don't know what to do. I did a few BCM resets, tested the voltage on the battery after it set overnight and it was 12.3v.

If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate, should I hit the dealership up right away?

At that voltage your +12v battery is only at about ~65% charge after transportation.. Charge it overnight with a quality charger, perform the reset, and enjoy your truck.

I've had deep sleep messages twice. Both times are right after driving it and they both happened within 2 days of getting the truck. I've never had it ever again and I also measured voltage when the truck is idle and it's showing 12.8V which is fully charged.

I'll say don't worry about it too much as long as the truck starts fine. If you keep getting it after few long trips then maybe get an appointment to get it checked out.

I'll give it a shot tonight. I assume the posts to charge are under the hood? Seen a couple people mention NOT to connect directly to the battery.

Thank you, here's hoping a little charge over night does her, it's my first new vehicle, and I'm just overly cautious.

You can search this forum or check the manual for the under hood pin locations. The “+” is under a red cover and the “-“ is on the drivers side inner fender (all under the hood)

Good luck...

Thanks, I figured she had to be under there, but couldn't hurt to ask. Y'all are great. Thank you again.

I just threw her on a charger for now, can get a couple hours in before driving, then finish her off when I get home.

God. The oil. I still can't fathom 10k miles for an oil change, but I realize it's a hybrid so it makes sense, but daaaaaaamn. Buying this truck for the few days I've had it has already cemented me into my next Sedan being a hybrid too. But I will definitely ask around if I have questions, from what I read here everyone seems to be pretty friendly!

I had the message once while the truck was in the body shop for a week and a half. The app said to drive it around for awhile to charge the battery which I did after I picked it up. No issues since.
