I texted my service advisor and am waiting for a response. It was a joke, but Silver23 could be on to something with regards to the battery. Either way be careful….. electricity is not always your friend

Good idea. I focused in the back since that is where the noise originated but will look around.Im leaning on speakers. But just in case before driving anywhere check under the hood and lie down on the ground and look at everything underneath. Just for piece of mind.
The Hybrid's battery is not AGM..Check battery under rear seat. The battery is AGM and needs a vent. Port may be blocked and popped off the tube connector that vents to the outside.

I think the battery from the factory is efb. Trying to confirm. But, further checking, it may be agm. I can't find a definitive answer, but I've seen both.I didn't think the hybrid had an AGM battery.
Have you recently met anyone named Sam?I have a 2023 Lariat with the luxury package and 360. I heard a loud pop that sounded like a balloon popping and then a noise that sounded like eggs frying for about 5 seconds. I stopped and couldn’t find anything visible.

The present Hybrid +12v battery is not AGM, there’s nothing to confirm...I think the battery from the factory is efb. Trying to confirm. But, further checking, it may be agm. I can't find a definitive answer, but I've seen both.
You very may well be correct, but when I see disagreement, I like to know for sure. Therefore, I search. I've seen replacement batteries listed for the Maverick as both EFB and AGM. Again, why I'd like to confirm with an actual source. The present Hybrid +12v battery is not AGM, there’s nothing to confirm...

There is no disagreement, you have not seen AGM 12v Hybrid batteries listed on this site. Hybrid Mavericks are only shipped with standard, flooded batteries. Ecoboost Maverick truck’s are different and we’ve seen both battery flavors. You very may well be correct, but when I see disagreement, I like to know for sure. Therefore, I search.
