Check battery under rear seat. The battery is AGM and needs a vent. Port may be blocked and popped off the tube connector that vents to the outside.

Im leaning on speakers. But just in case before driving anywhere check under the hood and lie down on the ground and look at everything underneath. Just for piece of mind.

Good idea. I focused in the back since that is where the noise originated but will look around.

I think the battery from the factory is efb. Trying to confirm. But, further checking, it may be agm. I can't find a definitive answer, but I've seen both.

I have a 2023 Lariat with the luxury package and 360. I heard a loud pop that sounded like a balloon popping and then a noise that sounded like eggs frying for about 5 seconds. I stopped and couldn’t find anything visible.

You very may well be correct, but when I see disagreement, I like to know for sure. Therefore, I search. I've seen replacement batteries listed for the Maverick as both EFB and AGM. Again, why I'd like to confirm with an actual source.

There is no disagreement, you have not seen AGM 12v Hybrid batteries listed on this site. Hybrid Mavericks are only shipped with standard, flooded batteries. Ecoboost Maverick truck’s are different and we’ve seen both battery flavors.
