I am 75 and ordered two in September 2022, one for me and one for my wife. Mine is built and I am driving it and hers is scheduled for next month, so there is good hope

Excellent. Best of luck on your two Mavs. i have come to the conclusion that this is all really just a lottery. The factory plays a part but the big part is the allocations. They are, without doubt, the elephant in the room with all this. I ordered from a small rural dealer that has exemplary rep with great service and rating. Apparently, they also have lousy allocations as I recently found out they have received a fraction of their ordered Mavs from September and still waiting on '22's.

However, even at my advance age I am still a patient man. Assuming my 18 year old Ranger passes inspection next month without a large cash outlay and I am good to go with it for another year I will order one or possibly two Mavericks, in July, from the two largest dealers in the state and see how that goes for me. If no inspection, I shake down whatever deal I can get on a 23 Tacoma TRD, hopefully in Army Green. I can actually buy one tomorrow as the dealer has one. Maybe I should.

I've been reluctant to multiple order, but I can see this is a game that I can participate in as well. I get the allocation thing, but I do not agree with it simply because for whatever reason Ford or anyone else can come up with to justify it, the end result is always the same. The hard working money paying customer is the one who gets caught in the middle and ends up on the short end of the stick.

So there is hope maybe that I just may live long enough to get my Maverick ordered Sept 2022. (Don't laugh, I'm 74. Hahahaha)

I ordered mine on Nov. 3 2021 when I was 74 yrs old. I'll be 76 this year in October. I too am wondering if I will live long enough to see it. Come on Ford, how about some justice in the scheduling dept. to help us old-timers out.

and all of the above is why I ended up paying for a Lariat Hybrid that was on the local Ford lot...$8k over MSRP, yeah, retired and life is short.

Not built yet. Still says in production for week of 5/3. Wondering what the hell. Has shown in production since 4/25.

My dealer guy told me mine was built 5/3 but it didn't show on the tracker until today 5/6.

Well, only 576 days after my original 2021 order and my Maverick is now built. Birthdate 5/8/2023. Coming to Arizona by rail, so I am told I should figure at least 1 week to ship and then 4 - 6 weeks to the dealer. Looking at maybe July to actually get to drive this truck. My first new vehicle in 30 years. lots of anticipation...

Congratulations! You should receive it much sooner if you're in the southwest. I received mine within a week from the date it was shipped to arrive at my dealership (Los Angeles area).

Wow, only a week to arrive to your dealership once it shipped out from Hermosillo? Do I dare hope to have the Maverick in hand by the end of the month? I'm in the SoCal area too, and my dealership is in Orange County.

I got mine 2 weeks after shipping also Orange County, autonation tustin.
