I don't see that happening. Hybrid with a sport exhaust note would not be a sporty experience.
Keep the 2.0 and drop an ecrate in the back with a battery pack built into the bed bulkhead. Done!

Well, OP, as usual, replies pile up with what you explicitly said you were not looking for - what people wanted. Never cease to be amazed. My safe guess is that we will know when FORD releases it officially.`

Haha, I knew it was going to happen anyways. Figure if I said it up front maybe it would cut down the amount.

And I know we will all find out when Ford releases the information about what is going to change or not. But a few weeks ago I posted on MTC about what my sales manager told me, and it was tagged by commadorbob for the fordvideoguy Tim. The next live stream Tim had he brought up the "is it true" about how my sales manager told me the order banks were going to open on July 17th. Tim at that moment was not aware of when the order banks were going to be opening (and he is a very reliable source). then roughly a week or so later we all find out that the rough timeline is July 17th for order banks opening.

So at that moment I could have been told a rumor about the order banks opening, and it turned out to be right. (Ford could still push it back tho). That was the main reason I figured I would make this post. To see if anyone has heard anything about possible changes to the 24MY...not so much about wishes or wants to the Maverick.

Nothing yet. I think Ford will fine-tune the packages again such as maybe add some items back to the Lariat Lux that were mostly overlooked as add-ons. Maybe shuffle the colors and build mix a little.

I don't think we are going to see any other major changes yet. I believe MY25 will be the refresh so I have a feeling Ford will just want to keep their foot on the gas, as it were.

That's what I was assuming from the start, but hoping for something to have changes or more options to pick from vs copy/paste my 23 order to a 24.

PS does anyone know if it is possible to get the alternative tire (Falkens) from the manufacture or just whatever would come with the FX4 Package. I tried to look into it when I placed my 23, but my sales associate was not sure. I am ok with the stock tires, but seeing I most likely will have to place a 24, maybe I can figure out if I can get them from the factory. I like the FX4 Wheels, just like the look of the Falkens vs stock. But its more of an appearance than functionality issue.

On the tires, I don't think you could in MY23. That's not to say Ford doesn't add that option. But the more options, the more Ford has to keep in stock to build. It might be easier/cheaper for Ford to just offer the one set.

I hope they don't change anything, this is supposed to be a cheap economy car, lets not make it the next vehicle with a starting price of over $40k because people need niceties. If anything Ford should start taking things off the Maverick, start by giving the XL crank windows and go from there until we get under $20k again.

Here is the correct start for the "Is it True" segment where Tim talks about the 2024 Order Banks opening date:

Push button start on the XT and XLT would be nice, I'd switch my 'yet to be built' Lariat for an XT.

I would guess the keyed lock is more expensive than the pushbutton for Ford. But it gives them a good reason to up sell the Lariat.

All I can say is if you want to place an order place at least 2 orders from different dealers. This way if this silly allocation thing pops up two dealer give you a shot at getting one.

What yanks my chain is when I hear someone who did that get both orders built. I had local dealer call me about a guy who had a 2022 order swapped to a 2023 then also placed another 2023 order got both and said I could have his one. BUt it had about 1800 worth of options I really couldn't afford on this hybrid. So I passed. Plus another issue unrelated to vehicles which made it a really bad time . Funny is I didn't even know I was on his call list if any Mavs came up.

What will be NEW? a HIGHER price.
Ordering from multiple dealers is the only logical answer. It sounds shitty, but Ford and the allocation system have created this situation. Frankly I don't think either Ford or the dealers would care.

Expect new exterior colors, always a way to identify yeardates. One of the big advantages over Santa Cruz dull choices.

That Sage Green on the Santa Cruz is wonderful though. Regarding colors, I haven't even heard any rumors yet. I hope it's better than substituting Atlas Blue for Velocity Blue and Hot Pepper Red for Rapid Red, or adding another shade a grey between Cactus Grey and White (Avalanche).

I know.. I know.. wish list are what you wanted to avoid. Just saying that I'm searching interwebs daily and speaking with folks who actually work in the Hermosillo factory and I haven't heard any rumors regarding interior/exterior colors yet. (MY2024 can't possibly be another year of 6 shades between black and white... oxford white, avalanche gray, cactus grey, iconic silver, carbonized gray, shawdow black, and 3 shades of blue... area 51, atlas blue, alto blue, and 2 orangy shades.... Hot Red Pepper and Cyber Orange.... okay Hot Red Pepper gets a pass becuase it's the most awesome shade of Red I've seen in a long while!!)
