All,

I assume the answer will be "none" or "no changes" but I just wanted to throw out the question of if there is going to be any changes to the 24MY Maverick that anyone has happened to hear via rumor or reliable source?

Mainly as I am 90% confident I will not be getting my 23MY due to dealership allocation issues, I will be lined up for the 24MY (which the dealership told me I would be a low priority number then (assuming a 10)) and I have no issues waiting for the 24MY as my current vehicle is in ok shape. But I started to think about the fact that July is just over a couple months away and not sure if there are any tweaks or changes or even upgrades to the model or not (or even things being removed....such as the modem).

I am not expecting a refresh or big changes (that is speculated to be 27/28MY) but maybe fog lights, or more interior color options, or other small things like that. For this year they brought the Tremor and BAP, so I dont see how something like a different color fabric or or adding fog lights would be too hard to do.

So if anyone has heard of anything or knows some things, please share the info. But again I just assume there will be no actual changes until the refresh happens. I am not asking what everyone would want changed or added/removed....just wanting to know if there has been any info about what is changing (if anything) for the 24MY.

Thanks all!

We know that sporty model will be out before too long. Teased at first and orderable in the fall. It could be a hybrid sport model aswell. Thatd be nice. Plug-in with 350 combined HP.

A fair amount of speculation with very but little ‘leaks’ about a plugin hybrid exists, don’t see this happening due to unibody’s body lacking spare space.
A full fresh of body design doesn’t look practical, better for Ford to unretire another small truck name like ranchero where a larger bed single cab could be plugin or full electric and still unibody.

I don't believe there will be any big new changes. They already increased the number of packages to juice their margins for 2023.

My guess? Price increases and maybe an ST version. Outside of that, mostly the same.

If all other others at your dealership are PC19 and they’re constrained you’ve got a shot.

My cousin’s wife’s brother’s daughter works at Ford and says they are working on a 6X6 Twin Turbo Maverick with a dump truck bed. Sounds intriguing.

We probably won’t know until closer to the order banks opening up. I wouldn’t expect much, hopefully some new color options. I’d like to see a dark green to go with tremor orange.

How about Ford fixing some of the ongoing issues with the Maverick especially the Hybrid? That would be a nice change.

All I can say is if you want to place an order place at least 2 orders from different dealers. This way if this silly allocation thing pops up two dealer give you a shot at getting one.

What yanks my chain is when I hear someone who did that get both orders built. I had local dealer call me about a guy who had a 2022 order swapped to a 2023 then also placed another 2023 order got both and said I could have his one. BUt it had about 1800 worth of options I really couldn't afford on this hybrid. So I passed. Plus another issue unrelated to vehicles which made it a really bad time . Funny is I didn't even know I was on his call list if any Mavs came up.

What will be NEW? a HIGHER price.

I don't see that happening. Hybrid with a sport exhaust note would not be a sporty experience.

My guess:

'24 AWD Hybrid
'25 AWD Plugin-Hybrid with batteries taking up some of the under back seat storage.

Id just be happy with Eruption Green as an option. Likely order a '24 Lariat if that happens.
