nobody has approached me , catch people looking driving by probably because of the bright color. hop in my jeep, everytime I stop or slow down somebody wants to chat lol. i did have another maverick wave to me!

Midwest Suburbia: The younger generation (first time car buyers) drive really fast to get along side the maverick to wave, ask questions and find the old greyed haired lady driving it lol.
Traveling in very rural areas recently, the Maverick got a lot of attention since it was so different. Most drivers had full size pickups; many older models or new mid-sized to small Toyotas. They were surprised to see a truck this size with this much room in the cab from Ford and went nuts about the price and the hybrid mileage.

To most people a car is just a tool to get from point A to B. Then their are those that think of them as signs of wealth. Then there are people like me who are car guys. I approach people with cars I admire all the time. Recently chatted with a guy who has a C8 Vette, beutifull car. Always a good conversation.

Had a handful comments on the Maverick since receiving mine in December.
The majority of people just see vehicles as an appliance and most will just see a small pickup truck so I don't expect conversation. That being said I have taken it to Cars and Coffee on some of the days that I did not feel like taking one of my other cars and there are people that are interested in it.
As long as you enjoy it, that is really all that matters.

Don't get a jeep Wrangler. everytime I pull over someone will come over to talk about it. if that person has a jeep you will chat at least a 1/2 hour!

Stopped at a liquor store to p/u some adult refreshment when a guy in a Jeep Gladiator stopped me on my way out and wanted to talk and inspect my Maverick... 20 minutes later

As average human if I saw a Mav with no information, I'd think, "huh, a small pickup".
What really really drew my attention was reading the mpg and price!!! And I'm sure if you put that info on the back window people would be going nuts!

When I first got mine in Oct 21, people would stop to look at it like it was a Ferrari. I live on a corner and would park on the side and we could actually watch people pull over to look at it. The first 6 months had a lot of people asking questions.

I live in Tennessee and have had several people stop and ask me about my Maverick. Some at restaurants, some at Lowe’s and several neighbors. From my experience, it is a real attention grabber.

I have made the same observation. In my town of about 20,000 I think there is only one other Maverick. Yet not one person has asked me about my truck--a Carbon Gray XLT Hybrid Lux delivered six months ago after a 53 week wait. When I purchased my 2021 Toyota Sienna XSE hybrid minivan in 2021 I had several envious dads gawking at my minivan in the Home Depot parking lot. Who says minivans aren't cool!

I think some of it is color- Carbonized grey is so dark the Maverick on the rear isn't very visible...
