Had a dealer call me offering me a first edition carbonized gray hybrid with 5k miles. For 39.7k including shipping.... I have xlt lux hybrid on order but dont feel like i will get it built. What would you do?

I think about 3k.... So not bad.... But 8 k more than what i have in order... And i am not sure i like the first edition logos...

Your money, your call. What trim level? Seems a bit pricey, but just finished looking at a 22 Lariat EB near me with 26K miles and they wanted $41K for it. These things are high. Glad I got one for my wife when I did, and my 23 Lariat Hybrid loaded is at railyard and hopefully will be at dealer in a few days.
First edition is Lariat with pretty much most of the features, right?

Yeah pretty much all options.
I have a Lariat 4K on order for roughly $37k. I guess it depends on how tolerable to ADM is.
If it is 3k with shipping, take it. That is a good deal. Assuming you like the features. A hybrid is hard to find. As you know.
I had dealer call me early March 2022 FE hybrid with trifold cover loaded at at MSRP (PLUS I BOUGHT AT LIST THE 10YR WARRANTY AS GRATITUDE FOR THE CALL). Out the door was close to 40,300. Financed 100% at 2.24% for 60 mo. Wife really likes it.

Interesting we just bought our second 2023 hybrid Maverick today for MSRP and they still have a used 22 lariat hybrid on the lot for 36k. We went there to look at a mustang and ended up driving away with a hybrid Maverick LOL the guy that ordered it didn't want it..

If it’s indeed just 3k over sticker that’s a good deal for a hybrid at this point. If you can swing it and keep your original order…..I would go for it.
No way I would pay 3K over MSRP on a used Maverick. I could maybe see paying it if it had less than 100 miles but this is a used Mav with over 5K miles on it.
