Tremor door jamb says 35psi but once they warm up tpms says they are 37 to 38 psi.Have you tried sunning it in Slippery Mode to smooth out the throttle response and check the tires to make sure they are aired up to 38 psi? That should help.
Is this real world observed MPG or just stating the EPA rating that took a hit for all Mavericks across the board? It has the same tire as the 235 equipped fX4 with 8/10th’s of an inch lift over a 235 equipped FX4, front air dam is different, and stronger rear half shafts, likely due to the increased running angle. Does All that merit 20 city 24 Hwy. I am no stranger to poor gas mileage I currently own a 2 door black diamond that does 18.6 city or hwy it doesn’t care (2.3) but it is far more capable than a tremor. So you can’t exactly say that’s the price for off-road capability. Something doesn’t add up with that package. Any thoughts?
I don't have a Tremor but I do have an Ecoboost with 4K towing and typically get no less than 32 - 35 mpg on the highway at as fast as 75 mph. The EPA ratings seem almost like a worst case scenario. It seems that observed MPGs far exceed the EPA rating so far for Tremors.
For reference, my model is rated at 29 mpg highway. Also, when talking about the worst case scenario, it is worth talking about the best case scenario to give you a better idea. At 55 mph, I have got 39 mpg on more than one occasion.I don't have a Tremor but I do have an Ecoboost with 4K towing and typically get no less than 32 - 35 mpg on the highway at as fast as 75 mph. My 2016 Nissan 4 banger gets 24 mpg highway (65 mph max). So I am not surprised; which is why I ordered a hybrid (which I my never see). I don't think people ordering a Tremor are considering anything with FWD.......not sure why people post things like thisWell that is why there are more hybrids ordered than Ford can produce yesterday I had to drive 250 miles from Northern California to Southern California into LA to pick up items that were too expensive to ship. Freeway I was averaging 46.2 mpg at 65-70 speeds and a whopping 50.2 mpg in Los Angeles bumper to bumper traffic. Love my hybrid![]()
