Looked at your mudflaps ( Muslogy ) . protection tape a must but doesn't come with them and optional but no way to add it . saw on amazon .

I have a set of OME mud flaps that I did not install yet. What protection tape are you referring to? Paint protection?

Yes . paint protection . It has been reported by mtc members that the ford mudflaps rub the paint off . the fix is a protective tape to prevent it . muslogy mudflaps offer the tape as an option which doesn't seem to be available.

I will be having Paint Protection Film (PPF) applied to the front end of my Maverick when I finally get it. The business that will be applying the PPF said its an easy job to add some PPF to the location with rubbing issues with the mud flaps. No additional charge. Only takes a small amount of PPF and very quick and easy to apply, reason for no charge.

search amazon using the term ppf. Lots of it, pick a size you want, cut it with scissors to the size for your application and apply it before installing the mudflaps.

I have the Muslogy mud flaps put on my truck and I did receive the PPF to put on them. If you didn't get them might be worth reaching out to them to see if they can ship it to you. The strips were great to put on and made me feel better about the fit.
