Ordered my Area 51 XLT almost exactly a year ago.. had given up on it and waiting for my dealer to contact me back about converting to a 2023 and finally got the email that I had a build date! Finally the end is in sight. I’m curious for those who have had their Area 51 Mavs for a while, are you happy with it? Made the right choice? I’ve seen a few Cactus Gray’s around town and like them a lot but haven’t seen an Area 51 in the flesh yet

Im super happy with Area 51. However if i HAD to do it all over again I might go Alto Blue and feel more unique. I mostly see A51 Mavs around my area. But that doesn’t mean it’s not a wonderful color. It’s just popular

My thought process when choosing it was that I wanted a color that felt a bit happy, but not “loud”.

Finally got my Maverick! So far I have to say it was worth the wait (although it would’ve been nice to get it within a year from ordering at least). Couldn’t be happier with it so far, meet Dirk:

Picked up my Area 51 XLT in Lafayette LA after a 367 day wait. So far it is everything I expected and more.

My truck was shipped 11/6 and was at the NJ Rail Depot by midnight 11/20…. So 15 days from Mexico to Newark, NJ.. as fast as I’ve seen… of course how long it sits waiting for a car carrier to take it the next 20 minutes is up in the air.

First time working with a clay bar and this type of finish. Watched a lot of Youtube videos and was a bit intimidated, but it wasn’t bad. I code the Turtle Wax product because of good reviews and ease of use/beginner friendly-ness. I think it looks great!

Here is my addition to the Area 51 family. Picked it up from Granger after a 10 month wait. Picked it up on Nov 10th. XL Ecoboost Fwd. Only option was a hitch. I am probably the only person who didn't buy anything for it while I waited for delivery. This is what I've added so far.

New wheels. RTX OE Ranch 17x7.5 +35 with factory tires and sensors. (FX4 copies)

Tinted front window 20%.

Rough Country rubber bed mat.

Smartliner floor liners.
