Ford advertises MSRP. Dealers aren't Ford, and Ford has no direct control over what they do. In a free market long term this tends to work itself out into a balance. Already things are settling somewhat.Canada(maybe not every province) has a law prohibiting the sale of vehicles from dealers over their advertised price(MSRP).
If dealers here aren't going to sell for MRSP then Ford shouldn't be able to advertise that price.
I prefer this method to government over reach which almost always has unintended consequences and frequently doesn't even work for its goal in the first place.
