Hey guys, we are excited to announce our catch can lineup for the Ford Maverick 2.0 Ecoboost, this is designed as a full kit meaning it includes everything necessary to install.

These beautifully machined pieces of billet aluminum are crucial in any direct injected car. They work to collect oil and moisture passing through your vacuum system and to prevent it from entering back into your intake as well as the manifold to where it would collect on the back of the intake valves and gunk up the inside of your engine, causing carbon build-up, rough idle, decreased performance. The Boomba Racing Ford Maverick Catch Can Kit is meant to be easy to install, and easy to service. With a mounting bracket that makes it quick and easy to remove, draining this catch can is super convenient. This catch can utilizes a two stage outlet to ensure that the oil within the vapor going through the can is trapped.

installation instructions are available directly on our website as well as our YouTube channel.

-All Mounting Brackets included

-Holds 200 ML of Liquid (each)

-Inlet/Outlet for 3/8" hose

-2-step compact baffle outlet filtration system

-User-configurable inlet/outlet set-up

-Dip Stick for checking level

-CNC machined from billet aluminum [no sloppy welds here]

-Available in natural aluminum, red, black, or blue(can color)

Don't these void the warranty?

We would always recommend having a good relationship with the dealer that is going to be servicing the vehicle. This product does not add performance like horsepower or torque so there is no added stress but keeps the engine running significantly cleaner, allow it to breath better and keep the valves healthy.

My cut on the ford warranty is if the added part creates damage, any damage, no coverage; otherwise coverage applies.

You didn't answer the question does it void the vehicles warranty?
If the CC caused the failure of part ‘x’ then that particular part wouldn’t be covered.
If you broke part ‘x’ trying to install the CC that particular part wouldn’t be covered.
If you install the CC and your transmission takes a shit clearly the CC didn’t cause the failure.
If you have an honest dealership you have nothing to worry about.
If they’re shady you might have a fight on your hands. The onus is on the dealer to prove that the part caused the failure.
If you’re still unsure read the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act.

Many many years, you can also refer to them as CCV (stage1) or PCV (stage 2) however it makes it much easier to distinguish the catch cans using stages.

My Mechanic I have known for decades said catch can's don't really work he said changing your old and filter more often works just as good.
Changing your oil and filter has very little to do with blow by which is found in pretty much all turbocharged DI engines. This is also not something that is only applicable to Ford, most car manufacturers these days are using DI smaller displacement turbocharged engines with high flow fuel pumps. The fuel that used to wash the valves and keep them clean is no longer going to be able to do it because there is no "fuel rail" like on a port injected vehicle. The injectors are now spraying fuel directly into the chamber which allows the valves to get caked with blow by (unburned gas mixed with moisture). There is also the case of your PCV system not trapping all of those contaminants from traveling thru your vacuum lines which will contaminate the engine. If you're still unsure about catch cans please feel free to search "walnut blasting" it is procedure that requires the valves to be cleaned, it is quite a pricey procedure as well. Installing a catch can system keeps the engine running significantly cleaner especially when the miles add on with more contaminations, cold starts in winter, short trips etc.
