I believe, either will give the 3% offer. Philly has reliably honoring price protection. Horsham has reported instances of buyer footing difference in price increases. -- Your mileage may vary --

It is also believed that Philly had a little over 100 orders, while Horsham had around 500. No one really knows for sure.

It may be worthwhile to check Chapman/Lancaster and see if they will honor 3% off and guaranty fixed pricing. I had real difficulty with other Lancaster dealers up and down the pike with additional fees and mandatory options. I have no idea about Chapman/Lancaster.

Email Ed and ask to be on his list as well? They don't need to know about each other. But keep in mind this can screw with the dealer's allocations when you back out of one of the orders. I have an order with both as well, but I am going to buy both.

You’re over thinking it here. You can place an order with as many dealerships as you want but again you might mess up their allocation with Ford. But that isn’t your problem. Don’t think in their favor. Stop looking out for them and think for yourself and do what is best for your situation.

Chapman Lancaster did not offer the 3% when I spoke to them back in July of last year. Thats why I ordered from Horsham.

Ashlie is at Horsham and Ed is Philly. I doubt there is a difference in how fast they get their allocations. They are literally only like a half hour's drive from one another.

This thread was specifically for Chapman-Horsham orders. Of course everyone is welcome but we were just trying to combine data to get a better idea where everyone stood in the queue.

I bought two and had no problems with my deal. They honored it.

Plenty of others too.

How can or would they know the price would change midyear?

Not a dealer problem but a Ford problem.

I was never told it would be 4% off FINAL invoice. I was told it was from the order time, even after questioning the price change. I really did not appreciate this fact/

FWIW, I placed orders for two almost identical trucks.

1. Horsham - 10/8/2021 order date - CO Lariat Lux Hybrid w/Moonroof. 3% under invoice.
2. Philly - 10/13/2021 order date - CO Lariat Lux Hybrid. 4% under invoice.

Not only has the Philly truck with the later order date (and better price) been scheduled, but Ed has also consistently maintained price protection will apply from the original date. Ashlie @ Horsham is very cagey when asked about this and will not give a direct answer. But that truck, despite being ordered first, is also not even scheduled.

I would 100% recommend Ed @ Philly over anyone at Horsham.

IF you will be happy paying MSRP (which is a good deal in and of itself), then I recommend @fordvideoguy most of all. He has an internet presence and a commitment to keeping you updated that neither Chapman dealership comes anywhere close to.
