You may not have an approved order, it should be in priority 2 by now.
On a whim I checked on my order with Ford Chat today, saw that I was a 2. Did they convert all remaining MY22 orders to priority 2 then?

I'm sure hopeful my Velocity Blue comes in, the new blue doesn't do it for me. (Also don't want to wait again.)

I was scheduled for production this week. I checked the tracker on Monday and it said in production but then when I checked it yesterday it went back to order confirmed status. Do you have an idea of why the status would go back?
Probably supply issue

I guess getting changed to 2 just means regional looked at it, no guarantee of a schedule. We'll, fingers crossed anyway. Thanks Tim!

I never seriously considered removing my XLT LUX package because anyone who has been paying any attention to Ford's haphazard scheduling system knows it's a crap shoot. Tough sell convincing me to remove things I want when I see you keep scheduling trucks that have them.

Now, I DO feel bad for those who removed the options they wanted and STILL aren't scheduled. My guess is there's a pile of them...
I think that they have successfully lowered the $ any they will get in their private offer....

Hybrid XLT LUX+ 3 dealer add have had vin since mid July was showing week of Aug 29th. Today dealer notified change to DAY of Sept 6th, so maybe it's a plus. Was ordered Aug 27th, 2021 never made any change but on Oct 26, 2021 ordered Hybrid XLT with NO options other than 4pin hitch but it has not received any attention. I elected to order the second one instead of making any changes to first one.

Same from my dealer....
I have confirmation that both ecoboost and hybrids will open the same day and a date has never been said only only September. I received that information from the brand manager today.

I got this email last night reference my XLT order:

As promised, we want to update you on the status of your Maverick XLT order. We are still experiencing delays due to the supply chain challenges that Ford and our industry are facing at this time.

Please understand that while getting your vehicle into production is taking longer than usual, we are doing all we can to minimize the delays.

There’s nothing we want more than to deliver your new Maverick XLT. We are fully committed to keeping you updated on your vehicle’s status, and will let you know as more information becomes available. We apologize for any inconvenience, and truly appreciate your patience and understanding.

As usual, no specific information. If I am going to get bumped to 2023 I can work with that, but it would be nice to know. I have an EB order at priority 2 with no constraints so in theory it should get built as a 2022. Here is hoping.

I think I've finally figured the order process out:

The scheduling gang gets together and starts drinking Tequila;
They take turns putting on a blindfold;
Someone spins the wheel on the wall;
The blindfolded person throws the dart;
If it hits your order number, you get scheduled;
If they miss the wheel and hit the wall, all orders are canceled for the week;
Rinse and repeat on Monday ;)
LOL!! With each passing moment my theory keeps being confirmed ;)

I wonder how many people got that email. I didn’t and I have gotten every single other “we’re sorry that we can’t make your car” email Ford has sent.
