No, and he told me that not every customer gets one of those emails and that people the internet have been obsessed with whether or not they're getting them ever since they started taking orders for the new Bronco.
just make sure your dora has a priority of 19 or less and has your nme on it

Damn.....a month after placing your order the dealer just asked for a pic of your ID....idk how all the ins and outs of the whole process works but the local dealer I placed my order with asked me for a pic of my ID a few days after my order was placed and I DID NOT have to provide a copy of my original build sheet.

Just for reference I placed my order on 6/23.

I think your dealer should have gotten your DL when you signed your build sheet. I ordered mine on 7/20, and received my order confirmation email on 7/21. My dealer sent a copy of my DL with the order. Ford has required this to make sure dealers are submitting real orders, vice made-up stock orders.

Someone should've gotten an email confirming your order! Someone, as in either your dealership or you. Your salesman should've use your email address when filling out to your order request, however, some salesman have been using the dealership's email and then forwarding anything onto the customer. Either way there should be an email from Ford confirming your order!

Got a text from my dealer today, said Ford requested a copy of my drivers license along with my original build sheet. Today is one month and a day since officially placing my order. I asked if he had any info on production scheduling for me and he didn't know and said it's basically a guessing game at this point.

I ordered the Lariat hybrid so based on what I've seen here it seems mine may be delayed regardless, and I'm fine with waiting as long as it's within reason. My question is, is there anything in the production process that would prompt Ford to request this information today? Does this signify any particular phase of ordering/production I've possibly reached?

Ford requested this because they think that your dealer may have put in a bunch of orders for inventory.

I didn’t think you got a VIN until you receive the scheduled for production email from Ford…. That’s when I got mine.
You're right, my order was placed on 6/30 and I got the Schedule email on 8/5, for a build week of 9/20, so it was about 5 weeks.

I ordered local...sponsorship agreement with my work, we pay inventory pricing. I emailed to change a couple of things on it and mine is held up for for material hold...naturally they didn't say what was the hold....If I knew I would probably change it.

Post on here what you have spec'ed out in your order and I'm the great and mighty forum folks will be able to tell you what is currently on material hold! Mostly add-ons like mud flaps, spray-in bedliner, all weather floormats.

I do not completely recall, by my sale rep said he thought it was the drop in bedliner, but I do have all weather floormats as well.

My dealer contacted me via email after my build was submitted and set up a telephone call. At that time they took my DL and received deposit. It sounds like your dealer just put the order in.

For me:
15-JUNE @11:29 AM - Placed order with Dealer, Deposit made (Dealer minimum was $100, but I put down $3K).
15-JUNE @11:36 AM - Confirmation Email received
11-AUG @ 4:00 PM - Dealership asked for a copy of my ID

When they called me on the 11th, they told me it got reviewed and Ford asked them to fix it, which is why they reached out to me to get my ID. About an hour after I sent that to them, they came back to tell me 'its all sorted out and in the queue to be scheduled'.

Today, it's still 19'd. Late Availability for being Rapid Red/Hybrid, but otherwise its showing as 'clean' so it can be scheduled.

How do you know it's 19'd? Assuming you mean priority code 19...

New to the forum I keep seeing people talking about the discounts of mrsp...like I said i was able to pay invoice price, which saved I guess around 4%. When i ordered everything My ordered at both invoice and msrp listed. My sells guy said that they wont make a ton on the car as ford hasnt given much room on the market but hope to make it on the loans.

I have never bought a new new car before, if ford releases some deal once they lunch will I still get rebates and whatnot.

A working theory is that priority codes (listed on your Dora but subject to dealer change) only affect your priority at that dealer.

A slight modification of that theory is that should there be an extra slot that goes unallocated (yeah right) a clean build with a lower priority number will be selected over one with a higher number in the event they are effectively identical. The 2nd scenario is unlikely to happen so unless a dealer chimes in it’s all speculative.

so if everyone at your dealership is 19, then the number is meaningless until you get pulled, then it will change yo something less than 10
