The owner's wallet card in the glove box apparently got thrown out with packing material. I do not have the master code for the keyless entry pad. When I went to the local Ford dealer (I did not buy the car from them) they said it would be $120, highway robbery. Is there any way to get around this or hack the code? It is a Maverick XLT hybrid.

Check google.
Ford puts them in different places.
EX...old explorers they were inside back where tire changing tools were.
Some were a sticker on pcm

It there somewhere.

More than likely a dealer mechanic knows where its at,

I think some were on back side of glove box. Had to pull it down

Good luck

1. Grab both keys
2. Put one key in and turn it to the the on position, but not running.
3. Turn off and Remove the first key
4. Put the second key in and turn to the on position.
5. Master code displayed on dash.

edit add- might have to wait a 3-5 seconds while in the accessory mode with both keys

I'm pretty interested in checking that out. Trying to translate the procedure using transmitters instead of keys.

ummm 🤔 is there a spot to put the key close to when the battery is dead? I don’t have my truck yet…

edit, found it? The manual has been wrong before. Attempt the procedure with each key in this location while pressing the button to get to accessory mode.

Per owner's manual, you should be able to contact your dealer to get it. 'Should' being the operative word.

But I'll bet it's stuck in some semi-secret location in the truck just like the gas tank cover by-pass lever is.

I definitely don't want to accidentally change our transmitters out of administrator mode.

If the key is in and turned to the on position, it cannot be removed.

Try this:

To find the keyless entry code, you need to have two programmed smart keys:

Insert a key into the ignition and switch the ignition on for a few seconds.
Switch the ignition off and remove the key.
Insert the second key into the ignition and switch the ignition on.
The factory-set code will display for a few seconds in the instrument cluster located above your steering wheel. Make sure you are ready to record the information.

I guess I wasn’t that clear. Shut the car off to remove the key and put the other key in and turn it to the accessory mode as well.

My code card wasn't in the glove box either. I found it in a manila envelope the dealer gave me that had my extra fob and some other paperwork in it. Took me a couple of months before I discovered that. I wasn't about to pay for another one and thought I'd just go without the keypad.
