Major Issue with NEW Maverick

When not in use, I prefer to keep my sunglasses on top of my head. I do lose them a lot that way though.

In the same way, I tend to lose a lot of pencils behind my ear.

It has been raining since i took delivery of my Maverick. Yesterday it was 90+ degrees and the SUN was shining. After washing my (Area 51, Hybrid, Lux, 360) truck I decided to take a spin. When i returned home I realized that my sunglass compartment would not open.

Mine either! It seems to be bent, been that way since day 1. Haven’t driven anywhere near area 51 either!

Has anyone else had an issue with a shudder at light acceleration with their hybrid? The dealer couldn’t recreate the issue when I took it in, but it happens every two or three days.

I removed it and installed a credit card wallet holder. My glasses never leave my face so it was a wasted space for me.

My Hybrid FE ordered 7-20 was first scheduled 5-5 pushed back to 5-30 and now 6-14???

The only show stopper for me is the felt on the center console door latch separated from the double backed adhesive and I had to spend big money on super glue to reattach it.

That damn thing is pretty cheap on this car. Ford needs to re design it. I wonder if there's a way we can install one from a late 90s early 2000s lexus? Those were the best.

Mine wouldn't open when I was at the dealership to take delivery. They took it to Service and it came back fixed. I never opened it again....

My Maverick sunglass storage bin stuck when new too. I had to fiddle with it the first few days, however it has worked properly for the past two months of ownership, albeit not smoothly.
I continue to notice that it has a cheap feel to it, like one of those cheap containers with a plastic hinge that you know won't last.

or the cheap plastic door handle I have had to replace twice in the last 3 years on my FORD Exploder!! Seriously, the door handle.......used how many times a day? Made out of cheap plastic.......come on Ford!!! Ordered XLT Hybrid Maverick 7/30/21. 3 emails in 10 months, 'we are so sorry you are waiting so long'...... SMH....... meanwhile, racking up miles on the trade in and can not keep gas in her tank! So very unhappy. Toyota, we need another affordable option!!!
