First off, the code should be kept as secure as your keys. Second, it would only give them access to your cab, they cannot drive it.This doesn't seem secure or even smart. Why have a key pad that can be broken into at any time with the code? Why even have it? Why would I use it? Stupid option!
You're saying it's not secure because someone gave away their code? Even if mistakenly? Why have locks if it can be broken into anytime with a key? Doesn't seem smart or secure. See, it's exactly the same.
People lose their keys. People will lose their code. It's life. Doesn't make keys or keypads stupid. It's just a mistake.
I have been using Ford keypads for years. They are great. Never had a problem. Never heard of anyone stealing or breaking into a car with it. But I have heard people stealing and breaking into a car with keys before though.
