Hello Everyone!

I wanted to announce a thank you gesture for our customers here on the Mavericktruckclub. You guys/girls have been very supportive and we wanted to find other ways we can be helpful to the community. Starting today we are going to offer Ford Protect Extended Service Plans for $50 over our dealer cost on any Maverick, whether you purchased it from us or another dealership. This represents a savings on average of $1000-$2000 from other dealerships in-person pricing and a discount from other online Ford Protect retailers as well.

How do you get this started?

Please send an email to [email protected] with the following information:

Name
Address
Phone number
VIN
Approximate mileage on vehicle now
Coverage desired (years and mileage)

The entire process will be handled seamlessly online by electronic signature and a secure electronic deposit. Your contract will be in force within 2-3 business days of completion of the deposit and electronic signature. Ford's ESP system is nationwide and will update electronically within their system showing your contract status, so you won't need a paper copy of the contract to bring with you.

Ford pass points can be used towards the purchase of these contracts as well!

Have another Ford or Lincoln vehicle you'd like to add coverage to? We can handle that too!The process is initiated the same way by emailing [email protected] with the information above.

This offer is good for anywhere in the U.S. with the exception of the state of Florida.

Again, we want to thank this supportive community here and appreciate the opportunity to help wherever we can!

Zach
Damnit!!! I purchased the Ford Protect coverage when I bought mine and it was very pricey!

What are these pass points I keep seeing?
Ford Pass. It is an app you put on your phone when you get the truck. It handles the remote start etc AND you get reward points. If you get the First National Bank of Omaha credit card, what used to be the Citi Ford Service Card, you get additional Ford Pass Reward Points when you buy gas, parts, service with the card. I got it and use it for fuel etc and pay it at the end of the month so I don't get the interest charge. You get thousands of points when you sign for your truck. That's how you get "Free Oil Changes" with your truck.

Through the Ford Pass app on your mobile device you will receive “points” equal to $210.00 after you purchase a Maverick. This can be used to purchase accessories for your truck. Many use it for large ticket items like a bed liner. I plan to use towards lesser expensive items like a tailgate assist shock & hood bug shield so I have no out of pocket for those items. The Pass app is free and allows you to lock/unlock and start your truck from anywhere. You can also see fluid levels, air pressure and schedule maintenance. I have the app on my iphone and iPad. Now all I need is the truck!

Did I miss it or is AWD not mentioned. It stated FWD and RWD being covered. Nothing mentions 4 wheel drive specifically that I could see in components.

You can cancel the policy you bought for a refund but not sure if you will be able to reapply after that. Might be worth checking up on.

The quote itself has set pricing based on whether your vehicle is awd or fwd. If you go through the flood ford site to check example pricing, you have to indicate this before seeing the price list.

Probably not. Gee, let's all rush out and buy a warranty that we don't know what or how long or how much it cost. Sounds a little fishy to me. It was bad enough buying a vehicle that I've never test driven or seen one like it. That's about a daring as I get.😎
ha ha I know when I think about ordering my truck in December without ever even seeing one, I could be nuts or not????

When you apply for a quote from Granger, you need to put your VIN in. I'm assuming the VIN indicates whether it has AWD. The quote I received is $50 lower than what I saw on Flood.

The Ford offered warranties start when the vehicle goes into service. It doesn’t matter when you buy it. It is marketed as 5 year, and it is, but really a +2/3/4 (whatever you opt for). If you wait, the down side is price increases on the plan. The plan prices go up after the vehicle is one year old and Ford also raises the prices yearly.

go here to price things out
WOW, thanks!!!!!! Not so bad..

Thanks

No problem. I see you are in Florida so you won’t be able to get this offer. At least you will know the prices and can shop around.

I just received a quote. I compared it to other quotes out there. This program seems to be the best program out there. I suggest you contact Granger Ford. I’m going with the 8 year 100000 miles program with $100.00 deductible. Adding key service, interior exterior lighting delete and first day rental.
ANd what did that cost?
