On hybrids
So I wonder if they are wheeling all the hybrids off the assembly line right now out into the fields. I'm kind of glad I ordered a bare bones hybrid XLT with just a back seat power outlet. My build was supposed to be next week (2/7) but did get moved back to 2/28. We'll see, I am expecting the 3 month sit in the field but hoping that it might just get completely build and shipped within the 4 to 6 week time frame.

Yeah, a lot of people here in Michigan love the heated seats. I can do without them. I ordered the copilot 360 on my XL just to get the full size spare, and more importantly the power mirrors. I'm tempted to to drop that in and attempt to get my truck faster, but, man, I can't image adjusting mirrors by hand anymore.
Good to know the already built Mavs waiting for the chip won’t get overlooked and forgotten for Mavs coming off the line (I hope that’s the case). That was my worry.
Will hybrids sitting and waiting for up to 3 months kill the HV battery? Anything else to be concerned about with the delay?
Thanks for the reply but link is banned...lol. Fordvideoguy already confirmed on Hybrid only as I already knew....maybe it was included in earlier orders on XLT and Lariat. If mine come with it I will gladly take them!

Tim, did the Maverick team share with you what ONE item is the culprit? That may be helpful for everyone that wants to cancel that item.
Most assuredly. Probably the sheer number of chips needed or even the number of additional wheels and/or tires for the "full" size spares. I saw where in Jan when Discount Tire purchased Tire Rack they said one of the reasons was the additional purchasing power the combined company would have. Any one item in short supply required to fulfill any package would constrain that package.

Adjusting mirrors by hand would be going too far backwards in time for me too. I'm gonna miss one touch up/down windows otherwise every other thing about this truck is leaps and bounds more advanced than my 08 Audi. Hell, I don't even have a USB plug in my car, hahaha.

Thank you for providing the updates you do. Having never experienced purchasing a vehicle this way, will Ford notify the orders that will not be selected for this year now that they know how many actual orders are in and for what? If so, when would they do that? I placed an order for a Hybrid Lariat, Luxury Package, 360 on October 20th and based upon this information this order will not be selected. Also, what does it mean if the order is rolled over to 2023 i.e you would have to spends thousands more and start the wait all over again? I have no idea how big the dealership I ordered with what their allocations are.
