In my old age, one factor here bothers me (just one?). If you own a vehicle and it treats you well and never breaks down and you love it soo much, why are people programmed to get rid of it???
Everyone's chasing that dopamine hit. Then don't understand why they're broke or can't retire. Bring back finance class in schools.

Net/Net,

The OP had ~1 post, has not been seen for 2 days since his post, and there's a high likelihood that his post wasn't factual and was an attempt to overcompensate or diverge from his true issue(s).
Sounds like it..

As far as the steering, goes..
My 2022 had tire PSl's of 45-47.. on delivery.
It also has a "tighter" steering response, than my older Rangers did.. 🤔

Do you guys not understand that driving will increase the heat in the tire which will increase the tire pressure? Pressures should checked cold. If you adjust a hot tire to 38psi, it will be under inflated once it’s cooled.
Some of us have been wrenching on cars for nearly 50 years and know when to check tire pressures. I ordered mine out of Iowa and drove it back to Wyoming. Tire pressures were checked the next day after arriving home when pressure was cold.

Because back in the 60s, cars didnt last long. People got int he habit of changing cars out every 4-5 years because being stranded in the days before cell phones was no bueno.

That pattern of behavior has been carried into the modern day. You still se people claiming that a car is getting close to 100k and its time for a new one, or they want something different, almost liek they're in a trance.

Part of it is marketing, part of it is social pressure, some of it is incompetence, and some of it is good ol fashioned greed and jealousy. The Joneses are on social media, and if you dont have the new shiny.....what are you doing? Why are you even here? That perceived status drives people into making terrible financial decisions.

I mean are we all not vulnerable to it? How many people had perfectly fine cars but traded them in on Mavericks? Even me, I love my GLI, its a great car, yet I keep finding myself debating trading it in on one of those leftover 2025 green Mavericks.

I do think you will have a problem "returning" the truck. But you may have a possible Lemon Law situation with the infotainment if it is truly broken and cannot be fixed.

Personally the only persistent issue that I have with mine is with the My View settings in the IP cluster. It won't save/retain the last settings.

Often models get a re-design that immediately makes a one year old vehicle look old. That’s a pretty good win for manufacturers. Think of when the Fusion went from a pretty good square box to a pretty good rounded box. Ford couldn’t move the leftovers at huge discounts although a good car.
fortunately the MY25 Maverick didn’t impress me ;)

I don't know to many people that have been driving for 50 years that don't know that fact.

No. Here’s AI answer
In most cases, you cannot return a car you just bought, as sales are legally binding once you sign the paperwork. There is no federal "cooling-off" rule for auto sales. Your options depend on dealer-specific return policies (e.g., CarMax, Carvana), state-specific used car laws (like in California), or if the vehicle qualifies under state "lemon laws" for major defects
More importantly, once a vehicle is titled in F&I it's "used" and cannot be resold as new; no dealer is (understandably) going to eat that loss.

Exactly. The fresh redesign of the 2025 Mavs made the older ones look instantly tired.

I'm thinking that his steering "issues" may be his lane keeping assist because it does have a different "feel" in certain circumstances. We've had customers mistakenly turn their lane keeping assist on and coming in complaining about their steering. We showed them how to turn it off. And they were happy. I keep mine on. But I do notice a different feel
I have noticed lane assist on combined with one side (passenger?) in the "semi truck groove" creating a steering issue.

Same here. I like the original look. Plus I get attached to my main vehicle. It's like an old friend with shared stories/adventures. That being said, I loved my 2012 VW Jetta Sportwagon TDI. BUT it couldn't handle some relatively simple things that I would do like carry more than 80reading. Some light off roading. And of course there's the good old PDF filter issues.

Don't know where 80reading came from. Should be 800lb.

I think this may be a situation of one and done drive by posting.🧐
Otherwise, we “surely” would have upset him by now :teehee:
