Hello everyone, I am new to the forums and Ford's ordering system, and I have a question, I've been contacting my dealer about reserving a Maverick for over a week, and a few days ago, I was sent a form by the dealership to fill out, and they said they will have my order number and invoice once Ford is done processing everything. Does anyone know how long will this take?

Does anyone know how long will this take?

First you reserve your vehicle at the Ford site. Your dealer will call,you, take your order, it will go into the system and you will receive a confirmation email from Ford. You will get your vin, window sticker and all that when the car is scheduled to be built. We are all waiting for the same thing, our builds to be scheduled. And we really have no idea when that is going to happen. Hopefully, within the next few weeks.

New here and need all of the help i can get. Only put name on list, is that considered a reservation? Wasn’t asked for a deposit, and i haven’t been contacted by anyone. As i do little research, turns out not everyone is going to get one???

I received both an email and a text from my local Ford Dealer. When I responded, he asked if I would like to do a special order. I made an appointment, went in with my pre-built Maverick notes and took care of everything in person. It required a $500 deposit ( I don't know if they all do). The same day I received a congratulations email from Ford. Now I am patiently (not) waiting for the next move. Ordered on 07/07/2021.

You need an email like this one confirming your order. If you haven't recieved one, contact the dealership.

you should receive the conformation email from Ford once the dealer has entered your order into the retail order system (as long as they associated your email address with the order). You only receive a VIN once Ford schedules a date for your order to be built, so not right away). It might be worth a trip to the dealership in person to make sure there is no miscommunication.

I have not received this yet, I'll contact my dealership tommorw, I conracted them about 3 days ago, and they said they're waiting for "Ford to do everything with the order", then I will get my order invoice. But clearly something is wrong, Thanks for the info!!

This is what my salesperson had to say, I am not sure if my order is reserved, should I try contacting a different salesperson from the same dealership or wait to see what happens?
