There's other parts with "Scrap if Dropped" on the Maverick, too. I believe the APIM module says that on it.

Must be some sensative components inside?

Crap! Makes me want to demand a recall! I don't want parts on my truck that can't be dropped! The nerve of those loosers. What if it was dropped before assembly and they didn't scrap???

Of course the REAL question is, are they REALLY going to scrap it if it is dropped, or give a quick glance around to see if anyone saw it and install it anyways?

Why didn't they put that sticker on the 12 volt battery?

As many defective batteries as they've had, I have to believe that back at the plant, picking up that battery and putting it in the truck without dropping it has got to be like trying to pick up an ice cube off the kitchen floor after you're already half a bottle in.

i remember seeing the same wording, on the heater controls. The youtube poster RedNeck Garage, retro-fitted his Maverick with one that had 'Digital" read-out on the control knob...

Wow, wonder what hitting a Very hard bump will do to my Truck??
