I found out the 25 models lariats come w those sliding strap rails standard, they was optional before that’s another 100-200

You are correct. Back when the Maverick first came out, you could spec a Lariat without any options for as little as $25,860. The Lariat luxury package was a $3,750 option and the FordCoPilot360 package was a $650 option. They made those features standard for the 2024 model year. Here's my original window sticker as proof. Also wasn't the base Lariat missing many of the standard features now? My buddy has a Lariat that came without heated seats, stock stereo and minus a few other things.
That's interesting if that's true. According to @fordvideoguy the order banks opened up for Job 2 on 25 Nov. I ordered mine on 3 Dec and even the confirmation sheet said Job 2 on it (see left-hand column). The trailer assist package will be installed with job 2 orders. Job 2 orders are schedule to start production on February 3rd this year.
At first I was like are you kidding me you only get two sensors up front one in each corner, then I subtly saw the other two hiding in the black plastic bumper portion.Won’t get a chance to grab mine until Thursday this week (snow storm coming in, and I’m towing it to my house to rust protect first before it hits the salty roads)
I got a vinview text at midnight last night and almost went over to the dealership right then to look at it but Mrs. 710-oil-614 said no. I first ordered a hybrid Maverick over 40 months ago!!!
So. Freakin. Pumped.![]()

Tim, the fordvideoguy, did say that a few job 2 orders will be built the week of January 27th and starting the week of February 3rd, full production of job 2 orders will begin. Your order confirms this! That's interesting if that's true. According to @fordvideoguy the order banks opened up for Job 2 on 25 Nov. I ordered mine on 3 Dec and even the confirmation sheet said Job 2 on it. I even got an email from Ford that said my Maverick would be built the week of 27 Jan. So if Job 2s are only built after 3 Feb something doesn't add up.
I've already found two dealers that already have the pro hitch assist and backup assist Lariats in stock and for sale - they must have pulled Job 2 forward or something. That's interesting if that's true. Did you actually see this in person on their lot?I've already found two dealers that already have the pro hitch assist and backup assist Lariats in stock and for sale - they must have pulled Job 2 forward or something.
One was in the Austin TX area and the other one is in Missouri. Dealer in Missouri already verified the pro assist functions all work. I'm plan a visit to test drive it tomorrow.Did you actually see this in person on their lot?
Could you take a picture when you test drive it? Thanks! One was in the Austin TX area and the other one is in Missouri. Dealer in Missouri already verified the pro assist functions all work. I'm plan a visit to test drive it tomorrow.
In the below video I talk about how production works. The plant has MP 1 and MP 2. MP2 is what dates we see as the start of production or the startup of Job 2 (2/3). MP 1 happens prior to that date to test a small batch of vehicles. So there will be some job 2 built in January. MP 1 for job 2 starts this week (information gathered from Ford). As long as your window sticker or order sheet of your scheduled vehicle says job 2, you are good. That's interesting if that's true. Obviously there were some Job 2 built in December and some dealers already have them on their lot.In the below video I talk about how production works. The plant has MP 1 and MP 2. I don't think so, I'd love to see their window stickers to verify and if Lariat, the dash with the dial for trailer features.Obviously there were some Job 2 built in December and some dealers already have them on their lot.
I've already seen proof from two dealers - both in window stickers and pics.I don't think so, I'd love to see their window stickers to verify and if Lariat, the dash with the dial for trailer features.
Okay, that is great. I report based on information given to me by @Ford Motor Company . As I mentioned in the video MP 1 for Job 2 will be prior to 2/3. I was told January was when that would happen, they might have done a couple earlier. Not full production of job 2.I've already seen proof from two dealers - both in window stickers and pics.
