I ordered the less expensive version that doesn't have the "flip up" at the last section. I have a Bakflip on my F-150 that has this feature and I rarely use it. My Mav will see very little hauling, so I just got the less expensive version to be able to secure things in the bed.
While there is no accurate answer to when you will see your VIN, you have chosen the ecoboost which will be a much shorter wait then the Hybrid. I only offer my wait time, which really means nothing. I ordered a XLT ecoboost FX4 on 1/29/24 and took delivery 4/11/24. There are way too many...
Had mine done at my house via Ford Mobile. Tech was having difficulty getting wireless so he asked if he could use my Wifi.....I said yes only if you look past my ST Ford Performance radio welcome screen and paddle shifting steering wheel.:whew:
I have the Thermal R&D 3" turndown exhaust. It's really hard to make a 4 cylinder sound good. The Thermal has a nice balance of sound. Its not obnoxious at idle or up to 1500rpm, but when you punch it the sound picks up and has a little snarl. Very happy that you can actually hear the truck when...
I can’t answer that, and you will get plenty of yes and no’s from the forum. Any time you change something you run the risk of affecting portions of the warranty. It certainly won’t affect the WHOLE warranty, like if a wheel bearing goes bad they can’t claim turning eco mode on caused it.
Had mine done by Ford Mobile Service. Was done around 20 minutes. So far no side effects. Not sure if he did anything for the TPMS. I was on a conference call and couldn't spy on his work.
thats not my pic. That is from CVF Performance. The person who posted the pic is installing a larger intercooler.
You want your intercooler to catch as much fresh air as possible to help cool the air from the turbo. Most will leave it fully exposed. You really dont want to put things in front...
Intercooler works by cooling the air from turbo to intake manifold. Any time you put something in front of it you kind of are restricting airflow. Will there be a huge difference, probably not. It wont hurt to put a screen in front, but I wouldn't worry about it.
